Terms you will see
- Offer for Sale (OFS): existing shareholders sell some of their shares to the public. The company itself does not raise new money in an OFS; the proceeds go to the selling shareholders.
- Price band: the range within which investors could bid before the final issue price was fixed.
- Subscription (5.71 times): investors asked for about 5.71 times the number of shares on offer.
- Listing premium: how far the first trading price is above the issue price. Here it was about 0.84%.
- Market capitalisation: share price multiplied by the number of shares outstanding; it shows the company’s value at market prices.
