Apple Unveils $299 HomeView Smart Hub And Siri-Powered Apple TV 4K

Apple has expanded its smart home push with two announcements: a new $299 smart home hub called HomeView, built around its Siri AI assistant and featuring its own screen, and an updated Apple TV 4K that adds Siri voice commands you can use without picking up the remote.

HomeView is designed to sit at the centre of a connected home, acting as a control panel for lights, cameras, and other smart accessories while doubling as a video-calling and intercom device. The new Apple TV 4K builds on this same voice-first approach, letting users search, pause, or switch content just by speaking.

The moves signal Apple leaning further into AI-powered home devices, an area where rivals like Google and Amazon already have an established presence. Pricing and availability outside the US, including for the Indian market, are expected to be detailed in the coming weeks.
