UPSC Application Window Closes October 16, Multiple Other Recruitment Drives Active
Candidates eyeing central government jobs have a near-term deadline to watch: UPSC’s latest notification, released in late September for 13 posts, closes for applications on October 16.
Beyond UPSC, several other major recruitment drives are active this month, including SSC CHSL, SSC MTS and Havaldar, RRB NTPC, and FCI, each at different stages of their respective recruitment cycles. At the state level, Andhra Pradesh’s job calendar for 2026 covers 10,060 posts across four phases, with the third and fourth phases — together covering over 5,300 posts spanning roles like deputy tahsildar and GST officer — scheduled around October 15.
With multiple drives running in parallel, candidates are advised to track each exam’s official notification directly on the recruiting body’s website rather than relying solely on third-party aggregators, since dates, eligibility, and fee details can change and are sometimes reported inconsistently across portals.
