Equity Fund Inflows Rise 31% To ₹38,307 Crore In September; SIPs Hit A Record ₹32,490 Crore
Equity mutual funds took in net inflows of ₹38,306.55 crore in September 2026, up about 31% from ₹29,328.62 crore in August, according to AMFI data released on 12 October. It was the 67th consecutive month of positive equity inflows.
Small-cap funds drew ₹9,038.57 crore and mid-cap funds ₹7,834.84 crore, together nearly half of active equity inflows. Large-cap funds returned to net inflows of ₹859.47 crore after outflows in August.
Monthly SIP contributions reached a record ₹32,490 crore, from ₹32,297 crore in August, across about 10.06 crore SIP accounts. Past inflows say nothing about future returns, and this is not investment advice.
