India’s medals so far
India had six medals: four silver and two bronze, placing 12th in the medal table, as reported. India was still looking for its first gold.
- Shooting: silver in the women’s 10m air rifle team event, silver for Elavenil Valarivan in the women’s individual event, silver in the men’s 10m air rifle team event (Rudrankksh Patil, Himanshu Dhillon and Parth Mane), and Himanshu’s individual silver in the men’s 10m air rifle with 252.4 points. Rudrankksh won the individual bronze with 230.9.
- Mixed martial arts: Suchika Tariyal won bronze in the women’s traditional 60 kg category, India’s first MMA medal at the Asian Games.
