Amazon’s Bee AI Wearable Listens All Day To Build Your To-Do List
Amazon showcased its Bee wearable at CES 2026, an AI companion device that listens to conversations throughout the day to generate to-do lists, reminders, and summaries automatically.
Bee began as a standalone startup — a wristband priced around $49 with a $19-a-month subscription — before Amazon moved to acquire the company. The device pairs with an app and integrates with services like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Apple Health, and Amazon has said it plans to gradually link Bee with Alexa over time, though the two currently work independently. Audio is discarded after being transcribed, which limits how the device can be used for anything requiring playback later.
The always-listening design has drawn privacy concerns from reviewers, with some noting the device can struggle to distinguish real conversations from background media like a TV or podcast. As Amazon continues integrating Bee into its ecosystem, how it handles these privacy questions will likely shape how widely the device is adopted.
