Editorial Policy

These are the rules we follow when we write and publish on InfoTab India.

What we cover

  • Trending Explained: technology, science, exams and everyday how-tos in simple language.
  • Entertainment: OTT release lists, movie dates, quizzes and family-friendly watchlists. We stick to facts and fair, polite reviews of the work.
  • Festivals & Astrology: festival dates and traditions, panchang basics and horoscopes, always with a disclaimer.
  • Updates: short summaries in our own words of sports, health and money notices, with the source credited and linked.

What we do not cover

  • Politics, elections and disputes between parties or governments.
  • Anything that compares, criticises or favours a religion, caste, community, region or language.
  • Crime, accidents, disasters and tragedies.
  • Adult, vulgar or violent content.
  • Rumours, gossip and the private lives of named people.

Sources and accuracy

Every date and fact is checked against a reliable source, and we link to it. For festival dates we use recognised panchangs and note that dates can vary by place.

Our own words

We write in our own words. When we summarise another publication, we keep it short, name the source and link to the original. We do not copy articles or photos.

Astrology and festival content

This content is for general information and entertainment. We do not predict illness, death, court results or money gains, and we do not sell remedies, gemstones or consultations. Practices vary by region and family, and we say so.

Headlines

Our headlines describe what the article delivers. We do not use clickbait.

Images

We use our own images or images we have permission to use, with credit where needed.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and note the change and the date on the page. To report a mistake, please use our Contact page.
