PM-KISAN Continues Till 2030-31
The Cabinet approved continuing the PM-KISAN scheme from 2026-27 to 2030-31 with a financial outlay of ₹3.15 lakh crore. It provides income support to eligible farmer families through Direct Benefit Transfer.
GOBARdhan: A National Biogas Scheme
The GOBARdhan scheme, approved with an outlay of ₹23,731 crore, aims to turn agricultural residue, cattle dung, press mud and municipal organic waste into compressed biogas, organic manure and rural income. It runs from FY 2026-27 to FY 2035-36.
Small Hydro Power Scheme
A separate Small Hydro Power Development Scheme has been approved for FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31 to support clean power generation from small hydro projects.
